Brett joined Ergo in November 2011 to head up the CAD department. He has experience in management and negotiation as well as electrical design documentation. Brett's expertise with automated drawing software AutoCAD Electrical will be put to good use at Ergo to generate schematics and equipment layout drawings.

Prior to joining Ergo Brett was on short-term contract to a company which exports airport baggage handling systems, where his role was to streamline and standardise the internal systems of the CAD department. Brett has worked for eighteen years in the marine industry, fifteen years of that as CAD/electrical designer/design manager. His previous work experience has been as a heavy industrial electrician in the gold mining construction industry in both Papua New Guinea and Western Australia. He is a registered electrical fitter (marine & heavy industrial) - a qualification he obtained after a four year apprenticeship at the HMNZ dockyards.
