Carla is a founding staff member of Ergo, and head of the Power Systems department since 2009. She has more than ten years' power systems experience.

As Head of Department, Carla is responsible for managing multi-discipline projects and providing detailed design for both utility companies and industrial clients. Substation design is a specialty.

Ergo prides itself on providing practical, workable solutions for its clients, and Carla is uniquely placed to do this. She has worked her way up from a cadetship with the Auckland Electric Power Board, and after graduating from The University of Auckland honed her skills at commissioning (mostly 110kV switchyards and automated wastewater plants). This strong 'hands-on' background not only informs her design work, it also means she has the ability to relate across the board.

Carla is furthering her education with EEA's power systems protection course.
