Daniel provides CAD design for a range of engineering projects. Typically this involves creating 2D or 3D drawings for substation and protection upgrades. He also contributes to the on-going development of Ergo's standards, and assists with IT support. As his experience grows he is able to offer more design input to Ergo's engineers.

Prior to joining Ergo in 2008, Daniel worked for six years as an electronics technician for the Navy, then three years as an apprentice electrician in the residential/commercial sector. This experience has given him useful insights into the electrical design process.

Daniel is studying part-time at AUT. He expects to complete a Diploma in Electrical Engineering midway through 2011.
